Most people think I only do weddings, because it is mostly what I blog, and I don’t have families on my website. But last year I photographed over 40 families. One of my favorite parts of photographing a family is seeing how the mom’s interact with their children, and seeing the children clinging to, hugging and kissing their mom. Motherhood is rough and exhausting. It often is the same thing day in and day out, filled with tantrums, little sleep and no personal time. But because of the sacrifice and hard work that it is, it is also one of the most rewarding roles to have. I’m so grateful for my little girls and the opportunity I have to be a mother. I am also grateful for all those moms that let me capture them and the love they have for their little ones. Happy Mother’s Day!
